Do you have a keen interest in plants, trees and bulbs, their needs and wants? Do you have an understanding, or desire to understand, how best to create visually stunning, resilient planting combinations for domestic gardens in the UK.
Are you practically minded, with some experience in carpentry and the basics of hard landscaping?
Are you interested in pursuing a career in horticulture and landscaping with a design and installation company based in Tonbridge?
Your demonstrable plant knowledge must encompass a basic grasp of conditions, pests, diseases and other vulnerabilities. Our adage is plagiarised from Beth Chatto – the right plant in the right place.
You may have had experience in fencing, some patio laying, and other elements of hard landscaping, and these skills would be used to complement your passion for plants.
The right person for this role will be a people person who is able to communicate on all levels to others from all walks of life. Honesty, loyalty and a hard working attitude are essential attributes.
The role will require you to communicate verbally and in writing to your team mates, clients and suppliers. You must be organised, open-minded, creative and slightly reckless. Only slightly. This must be balanced with a sensible view of the world. You will need to be a keen learner with an interest in the how’s and whys of pretty much everything.

You will be supported in building on your basic skills, honing your plant knowledge, hard landscaping and carpentry skills as an essential progression within a stimulating and varied role.
Every day is as changeable as the British weather, so you must be adaptable and resilient, and be able to cope positively with sudden change mid-way through a seemingly normal day.
The right candidate will have a full, clean driving licence and be aged over 21. You must be able to commit to a five day week working 7.45am – 4.30pm and sometimes beyond.
